# Invite and Manage Team Members in Your Nulix Workspace

> Invite new collaborators, track pending invitations, reassign roles, and remove team members from your Nulix workspace — all from Settings > Team.

Nulix makes it easy to collaborate by inviting colleagues to your workspace as team members. Team members can contribute to your knowledge bases according to the role you assign them — from reading content to publishing articles and managing workspace settings. You manage all of this from **Settings > Team**.

## Inviting Team Members

**1. Open Team Settings**

Click **Settings** in the Nulix sidebar, then select the **Team** tab.

**2. Click Invite Member**

Click the **Invite Member** button in the top-right corner of the Team page.

**3. Enter their email address**

Type the invitee's work email address into the **Email** field.

**4. Choose a role**

Select the appropriate role from the **Role** dropdown — **Admin**, **Editor**, or **Viewer**. See [Roles & Permissions](https://docs.nulix.io/admin/roles-permissions.md) for a full breakdown of what each role can do.

**5. Send the invitation**

Click **Send Invite**. Nulix immediately sends the invitee an email with a secure invitation link.

## Invitation Flow

Once you send an invitation, here is what happens on the invitee's side:

1. The invitee receives an email from Nulix with the subject "You've been invited to \[Workspace Name]".
2. They click the **Accept Invitation** link in the email.
3. If they already have a Nulix account, they are logged in automatically and added to your workspace. If not, they are prompted to create a free account first.
4. After joining, they appear in your **Active Members** list with the role you assigned.

Invitation links expire after **7 days**. If an invitee misses the window, remove the pending invite and resend a new one.

## Managing Members

The Team page shows two sections: **Active Members** and **Pending Invites**.

**Active Members**

Active members have accepted their invitation and can access the workspace according to their role. From this list you can:

* **View** each member's name, email, role, and join date
* **Change role** — click a member's name and select **Change Role**
* **Remove member** — click a member's name and select **Remove from Workspace**

Removing a member immediately revokes their access. Any articles they authored remain intact and are attributed to them.

**Pending Invites**

Pending invites are invitations that have been sent but not yet accepted. From this list you can:

* **Resend invite** — sends a fresh email with a new 7-day link
* **Cancel invite** — removes the invitation entirely; the original link will no longer work

## Role Capabilities at a Glance

The table below summarises what each role can do. For the full permissions breakdown, see [Roles & Permissions](https://docs.nulix.io/admin/roles-permissions.md).
